In January, a massage therapist from Longmont, CO was accused of digitally penetrating a client during a massage. Recently, a trial date was set.
Daniel Avalos-Vigil, 30, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.
In an affidavit, the victim said that she had gone to Avalos-Vigil for massages about a dozen times over the last two years. She noticed early on that he had touched her sexually, but she had assumed it was an accident.
Then, during a massage, he penetrated her with his finger. She asked why he had done this and he replied that he didn’t know and apologized.
The victim’s medical exam showed an abrasion that matches the place where she alleges Avalos-Vigil touched her.
In an interview with police, Avalos-Vigil said he was tired and not paying attention at the time of the incident and that he was working on her upper adductor at the time.
